Please note
Basically, Discdogging is suitable for all dogs that are fit and enjoy exercise. However, there are some exceptions:

- Because the jumping and the abrupt movements could damage their joints. Your four-legged friend should be fully grown.
- Dogs with osteoarthritis or hip dysplasia
- The health of your four-legged friend is clearly in the first place. There are also other joys
- Heavy dogs
- such as St. Bernards are not suitable for discdogging due to their physique.
- Pug and Co
- Dogs that have an extremely short muzzle are more likely to suffer from breathing problems. If this is the case, they probably do not enjoy dog frisbee.

Where you can train with your four-legged friend
For example, a meadow with soft and level ground without holes is suitable as a training ground. Add the matching frisbee and you are good to go. Many dog sports clubs or dog schools provide offers around the popular dog sport, where you can practice together with like-minded
people.
As a throwing disc are suitable special dog frisbees made of unbreakable materials, in addition, the disc should be flexible
and do not have sharp edges.
Show your skills
You and your four-legged friend love to play with the Frisbee disc and are looking for new challenges? Then competitions could be interesting for you. We will present you 3 different disciplines:
- Freestyle
- Mini Distance
- Long Distance
Mini Distance
On a limited playing field, it’s throw and fetch for 60 seconds! For each Frisbee disc caught out of the air, the human-dog duo earns points depending on the distance they throw it.
Freestyle
Within two minutes, you have to present an impressive choreography to a piece of music. The number of discs allowed shows that the teamwork requires some skill on the part of man and dog: the team may use up to seven discs.
Long Distance
In this discipline, only the distance caught counts: the handler may throw the Frisbee three times. The longest throw that the dog could successfully catch from the air is scored.
